As you can imagine, we've had a significant amount of indoor time this week. Today we're going to go for a nature hike (at a very brisk pace, I imagine!) with my sister in law and her gang, but other than that I think I record has been 15 minutes outdoors.
Here are a few things that happened this week:
I found frost on the inside of several windows in the early mornings:
We grew crystal snowflakes:
I distracted kids with things like trays of baking soda and coloured vinegar:
We wrapped up our Polar Animals unit:
M also started her own blog, to post Sims reviews and links to great tutorials (any Sims fans here?). I'm all for it since it means she is writing, voluntarily and regularly! Her video editing skills continue to grow, as she has now produced rotating images, spliced and edited videos, and more things that I had no clue she'd learned. I am continually impressed by the things she learns in her spare time...I love to see each new thing!
I am now going to go put on approximately 20 layers of clothing in anticipation of this morning's hike. On the plus side, I get to test out my new camera, assuming it doesn't freeze solid along the way.
